  1. Aladdin Expander(tm) License Agreement

  3. This is a legal agreement between you and Aladdin Systems,
  4. Inc. covering your use of Aladdin Expander. Be sure to read
  5. the following agreement before using the software. IF YOU DO
  6. NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, DO NOT USE THE
  7. SOFTWARE AND DESTROY ALL COPIES OF IT.

  9. This copyright software is distributed as freeware. You may
  10. use this software without any charge and may distribute to
  11. others. The software is owned by Aladdin Systems and is
  12. protected by United States copyright laws and international
  13. treaty provisions. Therefore, you must treat the software
  14. like any other copyrighted material (e.g., a book or musical
  15. recording).

  17. Commercial distribution of the software is restricted without
  18. permission of Aladdin. We are more than happy to allow you to
  19. distribute our software, but you must first have a license to
  20. do so. Contact Aladdin Systems for details on obtaining a
  21. license.

  23. You may not rent or lease the software, nor may you modify,
  24. adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble
  25. the software. If you violate any part of this agreement, your
  26. right to use this software terminates automatically and you
  27. then must destroy all copies of this software in your
  28. possession.

  30. The software and related documentation are provided "AS IS"
  31. and without warranty of any kind and Aladdin Systems
  32. expressly disclaims all other warranties, express or implied,
  33. including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of
  34. merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Under
  35. no circumstances shall Aladdin Systems be liable for any
  36. incidental, special or consequential damages that result from
  37. the use or inability to use the software or related
  38. documentation, even if Aladdin Systems has been advised of
  39. the possibility of such damages.

  41. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of
  42. California. If for any reason a court of competent
  43. jurisdiction finds any provision of this Agreement, or
  44. portion thereof, to be unenforceable, that provision of the
  45. Agreement shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible
  46. so as to effect the intent of the parties, and the remainder
  47. of this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.

  49. The software and documentation are provided with RESTRICTED
  50. RIGHTS. Use, duplication, or disclosure by the Government is
  51. subject to restrictions as set forth in subdivision
  52. (b)(3)(ii) of the ASPR Rights in Technical Data and Computer
  53. Software clause at 252.227-7013. Manufacturer is Aladdin
